Rudy’s Happier Hour Pick of the Week – Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Hey friend, its me Rudy again. Sorry that I am a day late and a dollar short on my Happier Hour pick for this week, but yesterday was a long day over in SoDo. I hope you got after some beers without me! Beer tastes just as good on Saturday as it does on Friday, so today, Ill be cracking into a new release from @miragebeer that we picked up last night at their open house. Never been there before, but they sure do live up to the hype. Fun time hanging with the brewers, checking out their new coolship, and of course enjoying their beer. Mirage isnt a BeerNav brewery partner just yet, but the beer is too good not to be drinking it this weekend. My pick for the week, is their new IPA release – Opening Day. This is one is world class, go order some for yourselves, and pick it up next Friday afternoon at their new spot in Georgetown. Cheers!
About Opening Day IPA:
Style: NE-style IPA / ABV: 6.2% / IBU: 50
Opening Day is a NE-style IPA brewed with Sabro Incognito® and double-dry-hopped with Galaxy and Azacca Lupomax®
About Mirage Brewing
Mirage is a small farmhouse-focused brewery in the Georgetown neighborhood in Seattle. They may describe themselves as a farmhouse focused brewery, but they sure do produce some killer IPAs. The brewery doesn’t have a taproom YET, but that is currently in the works in a newly acquired location in Georgetown close to Machine House Brewing. The new space is coming along, brewing equipment is in place, custom coolship has been delivered, and walk-in cooler is being filled with beer. Looking forward, Mirage will be brewing a wide rage of beers, everything from IPA to funky sours; some will be spontaneously fermented using yeast cultures they cultivated in the neighborhood and throughout the State.
